Families who are in need of a school for the 2018-2019 school year are encouraged to complete one of the steps below before August 24, 2018.
1. Create an account or login to the Family Enrollment Portal (www.newarkenrolls.org) and view schools with availability. Parents will then have the opportunity to directly enroll to schools that show seats available or add student(s) to waitlist of participating schools.
2. Parents can visit the Family Support Center located at 765 Broad St. Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm and sit with a coordinator to learn about school options. Parent should bring DL/State ID, student’s birth certificate/passport, proof of address, copy if IEP (if applicable).
Families who have a school match for the 2018-2019 school year must complete registration at the school. Parent/guardian must submit 3 proofs of address, proof of age and immunization record. Save time and cut down on the wait by contacting the school to complete registration over the summer.
