Congratulations to the class of 2017 students as they move forward in their scholastic pursuits.
Thank you to all of our new families who will be heading to Dr. E. Alma Flagg next school year. Registration continues daily so please bring your documents to the main office between 8:30am and 1:30pm.
The last day of school will be June 26, 2017. We are finishing this academic year with a continued focus on student achievement.
As we look ahead there are many exciting changes in place for the 2017-2018 academic school year that pertain to programming!
All staff members at Flagg are dedicated to meeting the academic needs of our students.
A student Classroom Supply List will be posted on our website however, teachers may have a few additional requests once school begins. Students should come prepared for class on the first day in a complete school uniform. A picture and location of where you can purchase school uniforms can be found in this packet.
On Tuesday, September 5th and the days to follow, breakfast will be held in the classroom from 8:05-8:15 for all students. School gates will open at 8:00 a.m. and as students arrive to school, they should report to the blacktop and line up by grade. There will be posted signs to assist students and teachers will have class lists handy. At 8:05 a.m. students will be escorted into the building with their assigned classroom teacher. Students will be dismissed at 3:25 from the following locations:
Grade Dismissal Door
K 7th Street K Door
Grades 1-2 Gymnasium
Grades 3-4 3rd Street Door
Grades 5-6 Blacktop
Teachers will be calling homes this summer to introduce themselves to parents. A Classroom Assignment List will also be posted in the school lobby the end of August. Please come to the school to review the class lists posted prior to the first day of school.
