Dear Parents/ Guardians,

          I’m looking forward to a productive and successful 2013-2014 school year.  Cooperatively, we can provide our students with guidance, support, and a rewarding educational experience. In addition, Mrs. Frangias will be assisting our class throughout the year as our classroom aide.

            This letter is to give you specific information about our classroom procedures.

 

SCHOOL PROCEDURE- School begins at 8:25am and ends at 2:55pm. You are to drop off and pick up your child near the 7th street door playground.  In addition, at 8:30am every child will be receiving breakfast.

 

SUPPLIES NEEDED- 4 black and white composition notebooks, 2 red pocket folders, 2 blue pocket folders, 2 yellow pocket folders (all folders should be PLASTIC/VINYLE ones NOT PAPER!)a pack of #2 pencils, 10 glue sticks each, a pack of 24 crayola crayons, two containers of Clorex wipes, a pack of baby wipes, 2 boxes of tissues, 1 box of zip lock bags gallon size, 1 pack of dry erase markers, and 1 hand sanitizer 8 fl oz. each. PLEASE label you child’s name on EVERYTHING. If we need more supplies throughout the year, I will notify you.

 

SNACK- We will be having snack time every day.  I will be sending home a monthly calendar of when your child will be responsible to bring in snacks. We will have approximately 25students. I will provide you with more information once the school year progresses.

 

HOMEWORK- Homework will be given daily.  Please check homework notebooks/folders daily.   Homework needs to be completed, signed by a parent/ guardian, and returned to school when due.  Your child’s folder should be checked every evening so that you will be aware of school events and any other notices that may be sent home.
